This little Pigg(y) messed with the wrong homeowner…

A Kenefick homeowner shot burglary suspect Paul Pigg, 54, in the back around 11:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 5, at a property on the 2100 block of FM 2797, authorities say.

This little Pigg(y) tried to take things that didn’t belong to him…

The homeowner, Joshua Fields, was on alert after a burglary at his home earlier in the week. Several items were stolen in that burglary.

This little Pigg(y) got shot…

Fields’ gun was clearly NOT one the items that was removed from his residence in the previous burglary. How do know? Because Fields pumped several rounds into suspect Paul Pigg’s back after Fields allegedly caught the little Pigg(y) with items that had been stolen from a storage building on Field’s property.

This little Pigg(y) went ‘weeeeee’ (in his pants, that is) and ran home, the wind gently whistling through the recently acquired holes in his body…

After being shot, Pigg fled to his residence on Private Road 6444 where a caller at that location called the sheriff’s office and Pigg was picked up by LifeFlight at the Kenefick Community Building helipad.

This little Pigg(y) was taken to the hospital and fed two-day-old lime Jell-O…

According to Lead Investigator Steven Rasberry, Pigg was flown to Memorial Hermann Hospital in Houston with a gunshot wound to his back, but failed to bleed out prior to arrival.

This little Pigg(y) might live…

His condition is unknown at this time, but with prayer and a little luck, Pigg will expire by the end of the week.

This little Pigg(y) would have been free of holes if he’d robbed a gun-hating progressive’s house…
